The Demon of My Contempt
This post from Bart Campolo comes on a day when we had two bikes stolen from our little back yard. Our gate was locked but someone forced it open. Looking at it now, I can see the obvious design flaw in the fence, but it's the kind of thing that I really shouldn't have ever been forced to notice.
p.s. - Wayne, if you read this before I see you, sorry about your bike dude. Take a look outside.
UPDATE: I may be wrong. There is one bike in our garage that might be Wayne's. But what happened to Roger's bike? All I know is that the gate was obviously forced open by someone and where there used to be two bikes, there are currently zero. But there is now a bike in the garage. I suspect that our stolen bike total is now down to just one. Wayne, come home so we can sort this mystery out.
UPDATE 2: Wayne put his bike in the garage and so just Roger's got stolen. Roger is a friend and former roommate who stayed here temporarily while he sorted out some things in his life. We still store a lot of his stuff (hint, hint). But as of today we store a little bit less....
This is totally random, but I was just washing some dishes and I have to admit that I am pretty impressed with the fact that we have a couple of items of very nice cookware. Aren't Revere brand pots pretty good? We're pretty high class.
