714 in Philly?

Barry Bonds has hit 712 homeruns which is two less than Babe Ruth's 714. He and the Giants play a three-game series here against the Phillies beginning Friday in one of the most hitter friendly parks in the US. Buy a ticket and you might see a piece of history, assuming he doesn't tie or surpass Ruth tonight or tomorrow in Milwaukee.

UPDATE: Bonds hit one homer today (Sunday) but just struck out in the top of the 8th so he remains one shot behind Babe Ruth. The Phillies dominated the Giants this weekend, including tonight's prime time ESPN game. After a bad start, the Phils are on a roll and beginning to look like the team I thought they might be this year. Pedro Martinez and the Mets come to town on Tuesday. I think I'll head down to the Park...
