Quasar Cool

I bought a TV just like this, only yellow, at the Salvation Army for ten bucks on Friday. I spent Saturday afternoon watching the Phillies beat the Marlins in stunning black and white on the generous twelve inch screen of this baby.

I've been watching World Series games in black and white ever since I moved to Philly. One of my roommates brought home a color tv the other day, but it's just not the same. Perhaps it is some kind of backlash against the world of cell phones, iPods and HDTV. Whatever the reason, records always sound better than CD's and black and white provides a truer baseball experience.

p.s. - the term Quasar is actually short for "quasi-stellar radio sources" which is an astronomical event and should not be confused with public radio.
