Greetings From a South African Shopping Mall

I landed in Johannesburg about an hour or so ago after sleeping through the entire flight with the aid of some great pills I picked up in a Paris pharmacy.  I popped two before boarding and fell asleep before we even took off.  I didn't wake up until the flight attendant shook me to give me a customs declaration form just before landing. 

I got picked up from the airport by a missionary named Bert.  He and his wife came here from Baltimore about a year ago.  Since he doesn't come into town much (I think where I'm going is a couple of hours drive from here) he's picking up some needed supplies while I grab a bite and hang out at this internet cafe.  This mall is really nice.  Indoor ice rink, etc.  So much for my stereotypes. 

I'll write more later.  Just wanted to let people know that I got here without incident and that if you need to sleep, Paris is the place to go shopping.
