I will try to post stuff here on Ninth Street, but the formatting from the Shozu program kind of sucks. It is what it is. I don't know of anything better for mobile devices.

I will definitely try to post text here though, as I can do that via email, and maybe an occasional photo or video. The video on my phone sucks, but hey, it's a phone.

So, I'm excited about this little trip. I hope to learn a lot of new things and I hope you can experience some of that vicariously. If the tech gods play along, it should be a nice little party.

I have to admit a little trepidation at this point. Travelling and all that is fine. I'm just worried that I might find something over there that would force me to choose between two different lives. All week long I've been more keenly aware of the little things I love about this place.

By the way, if anyone reads this, thanks for the cash. For the last few days, people have been giving me cash and checks. It's kind of an awkward thing. Do you look at the check, count the cash, or just stuff it in your pocket? I just stuffed it. Two of the biggest stressors in my life right now are finances and loneliness, so those gifts, big and small, addressed them both at a critical time. Muchas gracias.
