Tom Knox Came to Visit

Tom Knox, who is leading the mayoral race polls right now, met with a couple of neighborhood pastors, a few local supporters, and me yesterday. He spent a lot of time listening, which is admirable, but I regretted that he never got too specific on issues. I was most impressed with his wife, who had fond memories of childhood days in Hunting Park when the carousel was still there. She specifically asked how the park was doing and promised to give me a call about taking a tour of the park and some great neighborhood organizations. So we'll see. I'd really enjoy that.
