Valentine's Cards for Prostitutes
No little girl ever dreams of standing on Old York Road selling her body for drug money on Valentine's Day. It is probably not possible to get high enough to dull the sting of that reality. Doing something to remind that little girl of God's love for her would probably help both of us connect with this God who seems so distant sometimes, so I'm thinking of setting up my truck at the corner of Hunting Park and Old York and handing out Valentine's and hot drinks to the ladies of the night this Thursday.

Man... if it were on a weekend this year, I'd totally be in! Of course, I'd have to find a couch to crash on.
Earlier this week I'd had a thought to bring Valentines to the strippers at one of the local clubs. I put the thought aside. I'm sorry I did.
