Jackson Browne concert review - April 7, 2008 - Reading, PA

I've never been to a better concert. Straight up.

Here is the Reading Eagle's account of the evening.

I won't even try to give you my own account. Imagine going to a concert of your favorite musician ever and having your expectations exceeded exponentially. That's pretty much what it was for me. I have never left an auditorium that satisfied.

Here are some other people I found among the internets remarking on his live performances:

Here is someone's YouTube video of another recent performance. The interactions with the crowd and his open forgetfulness here are similar to what we experienced in Reading, PA.

You're absolutely right - the concert was as good as it gets. It was like Jackson was sitting in your living room, telling stories and playing all the songs you've always loved. We even had a JB sing-along at the hotel down the street as some guy started playing Jackson's songs at the piano in the bar. An unforgettable night!

Unforgettable is correct...it's over a week later and I can't shake the show out of my head...which is a good thing. I can't remember when I've had such an enjoyable night...long live JB.
