Another neighborhood shooting

This one was about 500 feet from my office. From NBC10.com:

A man was listed in critical condition after being shot early Thursday morning in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

Police said the 22-year-old victim was shot in the chest and leg just after midnight and was listed in critical condition at Einstein Hospital.

They did not release the victim's name.

The incident happened on the 4300 block of North Seventh Street.

Investigators did not release any other details.

UPDATE: Shawn came to Boy Scouts looking tired and I asked him what time he went to bed last night. He said three o'clock and it took me a while to connect his tiredness with last night's shooting. Shawn lives on that block. He said he didn't see the shooting happen, but he saw the victim trying to drag himself up his steps and into his house. He said that the victim was breathing but it didn't look like he would live.

Shawn is ten years old.
